Mine was right under 9 hours. I had lots of adhesions to work through and take down, and then had a staple line rupture that had to be repaired- so I was in for a LONG time. My surgeries always take much longer than they "should". For example, my gall bladder (a 2 hour operation) took 5 because they had trouble with the "machine that keeps you breathing" (ventilator). Um, fabulous. And my appendectomy (another 2 hour one) took 7 hours because the surgeon decided that even though I had a fever and was vomiting, there was no way it was my appendix, so he kept bumping my surgery back. Needless to say, as soon as he got in there, he realized it had burst and he had to debride my entire abdominal cavity (and decided to take a little "tour" of everything while he was in there too). Asshole.

Six and a half hours. I also had a ton of adhesions to be taken down from two previous pelvic surgeries.
I knew I was going to have them going in. I had a hysterectomy in 2008 that also took 6 hours. My OBGYN had to call in a colorectal surgeon because she said my ovaries were stuck to and knotted around my intestines.
Dr Roslin said I was like a block of cement on the inside.
