Almost 8 months post op (pics in my size 10s)

Well this is going to be short for now, I will update more later.  I will be 8 months out on 10/5 and weighed 184 this morning.  Why do I still feel fat??  I see this is normal, but comparing my pre op with post op, there is a big difference.....wish I would feel that because when I see the pics I know it is true.

I don't recognize myself sometimes in pictures.  Still see the fat girl in the mirror and everything.

I have been obese for most of my life.  I weighed 268lbs on my wedding day 16 years ago and this is the first time I have weighed below that amount since then.  So, my theory is that we have lost weight so fast our self image didn't have time to change.

Heck, I still grab for the 3 x's in my store when even the 1 x's are getting too loose.  Mind games.

But I can assure you there is a very drastic change in the images I see.  The most notable the little sparkle in your eyes!
