Ummm....my poop is mouthwatering......LITERALLY!!!
I would hazard a shot-in-the-dark guess that it might be a type of vaso-vagal type of reaction. Former neuro nurse, so my first thought is neurocardiogenic type symptoms. I'd especially think this would be possible if you'd had to strain at all when you go. Valsalva maneuver, slightly increases intracranial pressure.
Yeah, my son in law is out of work, I haven't had my granddaughter here for weeks and I really need something to occupy my time.
It wouldn't be super-unusual to have vagal type symptoms after a BM. I know that some people have some nausea/vomiting reactions to vagal type reactions. Beats passing out and falling down.
That's all I got.

I have that happen to me a lot... but NOT the pooping part... just the sudden onslaught of saliva and having to spit....sometimes I wake up middle fo the night and have to go run and spit.
I do sneeze a LOT more since surgery... I mean a LOT more... Ive never been one of those people who sneeze 5-6 times ina row just once but now I can sneeze for 10 minutes straight. lol

I was a little leery of posting since it's an unusual thing to have happen and then I thought "screw it - just be funny about it and if anyone is offended that's their problem not mine" lol
The theories about the vagus nerve being stimulated make perfect sense and it makes me feel better.
Thanks everyone!
