How many days postop did you STAY in the HOSPITAL...
Four days, but I got a sinus infection and had a small fever. The doc was worried about the fever. I was only sent home because of the Snowmegeddon of the DC metro area last year and they didn't want me snowed into the hospital.
Sinus infection cleared nicely. I healed with no complications.

Surgery on Wednesday and went home that Saturday..... three days.
I traveled for surgery and went straight to the airport, then flew home, as soon as I was released from the hospital.

Lap surgery. In two overnights, home on the third day. My mom had same surgery, same surgeon, same starting weight, obviously just a mom's-age older than me. She was in three overnights, home the fourth day. No complications, she just didn't bounce back quite as perkily as I did in the first few days.

I was a virgin DS done openly. I went in on a Monday am and went home on Friday afternoon.
I traveled a bit for this so he wanted to be sure I was ok before I left. I left with no drains or tubes. I left on a liquid diet.
A lot depends on any prior health issues and any complications during surgery/recovery. It also varies depending on surgeon, hospital, insurance and your tolerance to the procedure.

Four days in hospital, then recuperated in hotel for next 8 days until it was time to head back to the States. With the exception of the minor pain and discomfort, I felt like I was on vacation (while in the hotel, that is...different story while in the hospital..ha!).
