And you should be following the 30-60-90 rule.  30 grams of protein per day by 30 days our, 60 by 60 and 90 by three months out.  Really, your only requirement right now is to stay hydrated.

Hang in there.  I am seven weeks out and I still can only take in a few bites at a time.  (4-6 now)  I eat more often, about every two hours.  When I pushed it or added something too soon, I got sick every time.  (Vomit or Pain or Both)  I eat a variety of protein and have only added a few veggies this week.   I honestly think patience is so very important here.  I do not weigh myself or count calories or carbs.  I just eat protein, no carbs except those in my shakes and yogurt, and let the rest take care of itself.  I am loosing and happy.  I also depend heavily on the advice of the vets here.

I realize that I have been pushing ahead of myself and I need to relax and not worry too much about the protein counts yet.
