I'm 5 1/2 weeks out, and according to the scale, down 28 pounds. My scale says 33 so I'm going with that LOL. My pants are all getting loose and people are really noticing my weight loss. Not a bad thing. I still see lots of fat....I guess the mental thing is going to take a while. Dr. Peters told me that Gary Viscio is coming to our next support group meeting so I figured I'll give him lots of "love Alison" vibes Nothing much else to report, incision looks good, etc etc....all about the same. Really busy so I'm not getting on here much....but I think of you all. Sharon

Too cool! If all my test stuff gets into them by the 30th, I should be at that support group meeting and I cannot wait to meet you! Just got my lab slip from Robbie and I'm having pulmonary function tomorrow, PCP Monday and endoscopy on Friday. Pap today was uneventful (like what event did I expect). I have to admit, though, I'm always so afraid I'll toot while my gyn is checking under the hood...So, support group on Wednesday, consult on Thursday and God willing, surgery on Tuesday the 13th. Hubby and son cannot be with me until the weekend before, his stinky company won't let him take more than 5 days because they are understaffed. He lost his job about 1 year ago and is not feeling very assertive. I'm staying at a hotel Wednesday night, driving to Quakertown to stay with my sister on Thursday night and then we're all heading back up to Scranton on Monday. Man, I hope this all goes off without a hitch. I'd be so disappointed!!!

Denise, You don't have to have all your labs done to come to a meeting. You are considered a patient of his already, that is enough. Come on by...I will be there and Careen who just had a baby and lost over 200lbs in 2 years will be there! And Gary, should be a good one! I get to meet the man who got my denial overturned in person. Kelly

Well, it's for Dr. Peters patients specifically, I don't know if he opens it up to others....but you could certainly ask. They are the first Wednesday night of every month. Sharon

That's great to hear, Sharon. I had my 3 month check yesterday and got an A+ as well . I just wanted to ask you, as I sit here watching some dude slice up chicken and ribs on QVC, did you get your Spanx? I ordered too but I'm stuck on a waitlist and have no idea when it's gonna come. I hope I'm not in a different size when it gets here! Annie P.S. Ok these ribs are looking really freaken good.... hmmm

Hey Sharon- Congratulations Girl!! I bet you look fantastic!!!! I am so glad things are going well and people are noticing. I have only had 1 person comment on the weight loss. How are the bathroom issues at work? Please give Gary some "Love Alison" vibes from me too! Great to hear you are doing well. Kim
