Please get this checked right away! It may be the beginnings of a blood clot, could also be nothing at all but please get it checked to make sure it isn't a clot. I've had many in my day and that is how the ones in my leg started, just a bunp and not terribly painful at least in the beginning. Always better safe than sorry. Hope all ends up well.

I found this one

if you type in Fibro in the search it comes up on mine. It seems like a nice page at least to me.

Topic: In a flare - question on odd lumpy area
Hello,
I live in a main floor condo, and yesterday afternoon there was a sudden, awful flood into my kitchen and storage room from the unit upstairs. I was able to get help from my wonderful daughter, my neighbours, the maintenance guy for the condo, and the owner of that unit, so I really didn't end up doing much of the physical clean up. But I was certainly doing more than I could tolerate (flare, flare, FLARE).
Anyway, after the fun of the flood itself, the parade of experts started: insurance, electrician, plumber, disaster clean-up (or whatever the heck they're called). I was advised to stay at a hotel for at least a couple nights and was lucky enough to find one close by that is pet friendly - my cat turns out to be a happy traveler.
Finally to the odd lump. As I was lying awake most of the night last night I was checking out how my body had held up (hmmmm... or not) and discovered a lump about 2/3 of the way up on my right calf. It's just as tender as all my other tender spots, so the pain doesn't concern me. My whole right leg is constantly worse than my left and I often need to use a cane for balance and such. But this is out of the ordinary - or maybe I should say so far........
I don't remember falling, but I think I'll ask my daughter if she noticed me colliding with things. But there's no bruising....
Sorry this is so convoluted. Has anyone had anything similar, perhaps during a flare? I'm just not sure how concerned about this I should be.

Topic: RE: stangest feeling in stomache
I was going to go with gas, as that sounds like how I feel. But you've had it quite a while so it's probavly best to get it checked out. Hope it's nothing serious.
Topic: RE: What are you doing for the Weekend?
I tried knitting but I didn't enjoy it as much as crocheting or sewing, my DSIL knits the most beautiful scarves.
We had such a wonderful time! It helped her so much she wanted to go to the Orlando fair today. It was a nice warm day here in the South and the sun shining down on our skin felt so good.
Next weekend we are going to the Festival of Chocolate at the Orlando Science Center. I wish all you ladies a pain free week ahead.

If I were you, I would mention it to your doctor, not because of a pregnancy, but to see if something else if going on in there.

Topic: stangest feeling in stomache

Ok this I am sure you are all going to think I am ready for the looney bin. I am 64 no way I am pregnant. I FEEL something moving just like I am. I have been noticing this about 2 months now. First I thought it was gas?? But I don't think it is. It doesn't appear to be associated with like after I have eaten or not.I had the RNY 06 sooo don't think its with my surgery. Just wondering if anyone else has felt this and it is not always in the same place....
It does not hurt either its just weird !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Luv to my fibro sisters

Topic: RE: Do I have fibro?
Well if I were a doc and I'm not I'd say you not only have fibro but also chronic fatigue which tends to go hand in hand with the fibro. Usually it takes a doc to work the trigger points. I'd suggest seeing a rheumatologist or pain specialist for an actual diagnosis. There are meds that can help but it's kind of trial and error to see which ones work just for you. Feel free to post here any time and we'll be glad to try to help you.
