1st surgeon consult with new surgeon..he is very nice and has the nicest smile
very confident that the sleeve is a good choice for me and that I should do very well.I did all my labs, upper GI and EKG which came back abnormal, so have to see cardiologist for clearance, also meet with the NUT she said if my BMI goes over 50 then I will have to do a 2 week liquid preop,,that was a real motivator I changed from 3 mon to the 6 mon requirement...so I should be looking at about a July date...

My groups meet at DeKalb Medical Center in central DeKalb County. (near 285 and Highway 78). The address is 2665 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, GA. They meet in the Stubbs Auditorium on the ground floor. This is the professional building adjacent to the hospital.
The schedule is as follows:
Second Wednesday-post surgery to 12 months
Third Wednesday--open meeting
Third Monday--vet's group, 12 months out and more
Last Monday--open meeting
Actually all of the sessions except the veteran's group are a mixture of persons.
All sessions are led by Dr. Stephen Ritz, a psychologist who deals alot with bariatric patients and they meet from 7:30 p.. until 9 p.m

Thanks y'all....the Emory Johns Creek would be great if it wasn't so far. Atlanta Medical is super close to me, so maybe I'll try that one. And Northside might be a good option because that is where I am having surgery on Tuesday. Thanks for the info!!
