Hey there! I had lap-band surgery and I had the same thing you did! I called and talked to my nurse and she gave me prevacid for acid reflux, because the acid was sitting just below my band, so when I ate I was in horrible pain. Talk to you nurse and tell her what is going on. She should be able to suggest something!

Did anybody have lap band surgery? I am 2 months out - lost 28lbs. so far. I have a lot of pain when I eat, any advice? Will the weight move off faster eventually? Will the pain go away? HELP!!! No regrets, just losing patience.

Topic: Riding Season is finally Here!
I've waited for months for the rain to quit here in MN. Finally able to ride. Have been out for a week or two now. Last nite was gorgeous - short sleeves and a vest for riding was comfortable. Stayed warm till 9 and the sunset was beautiful. Happy and Safe riding to everybody. Couldn't do this if I hadn't had wls!!! Jenni

Our friends found a place to stay last minute last year - rented the lower level of someone's house -cheap- that they found on line. Go to some of the sturgis websites or motorcycle group sites for SD and you might find something. They didn't get their place till June or July. It's too fun to pass up. Have fun!

Hi Maria,
We just got an Electra Glide to go along with our sportster and custom and I am twisting my dh arm to go to Sturgis. I think we probably waited too long this year because it doesn't look like there will be any place to stay. If we don't get a chance to go, takes lots of pics and email to me so I can pretend I was there
Hopefully, everything will go right and we will get a chance to meet. We live in AZ. I'm ready for cooler weather already.

Hey everyone... just wondered if anyone is coming to my wonderful state of South Dakota in August for the Sturgis Rally? I have taken that week off and will be traveling out there most likely. By then I hope to be down a few pounds and back on the bike

I truelly understand how you feel, I've been battling the same thoughts about riding with hubby. BUT we went riding the last 2 days, it felt great. I told him by next year he wouldn't have this big cushion to lean on. Good luck with your demons

We live by Laughlin, NV and just had the River Run. What a blast! My hubby had an 83 Sportster 1200 that has the Fat Bob kit added and chromed up. Well, that is until he saw this gorgeous custom bike with a monster motor, custom painted with black ghost flames. Needless to say, I inherited the Sportster. 
. Not that I'm complaining. I Love it. We ride every chance we get. Now we have a Bagger (Electra Glide) being shipped from the mid west on it's way. I have my surgery on 6/27 and hoping to feel good enough to go to Sturgis this year. Won't know till then. Hope to hear from some guys and gals that love to ride.
