I was required to stay at least 12hrs for observation purposes. I had surgery at 12 in the afternoon on a Monday and left the hospital by 9 am on Tuesday the next day. Of course that was almost 3 years ago and I'm not sure who's requirement it was.

Dr Clark is so awesome. So is his asst Julia. Tell them that Jodi McInerney(Pronounced like two people "Mac & Ernie") said hello to them both. Jeez - that reminds me I should at least go in for a check up, hahah! But your in good hands.

What hospital are you having surgery at?

Leanne, I would say don't forget the Chapstick for sure. You get so dry, it is unbelievable. I would take the less the better. I too took books and magazines and didn't really read them either. I slept and walked most of the time. I am keeping you in my prayers for a safe surgery and a speedy and pain free recovery. Make sure you walk to get rid of the gas. Please, if you don't have someone to post for you (and Gail is a wonderful one for that!) let us know how things are going for you as soon as possible. Welcome to the Hoosiers Losers bench. We have a space dusted off for you and your tiney hiney!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
