Insurance

Well, I called my insurance company again today to see if they have got my info from the doctors office, and they still have no record of it.  The papers were faxed on Monday the 19th.  Come to find out she faxed them to the wrong number!!!  So I gave her the right one and she is supposed to fax them again today.  So there is a whole week and a half wasted!!  

Sweety,  So sorry that happened to you, but remember, nothing worth having isn't worth fighting for!!! I went thru alot with my INS. & former PCP,before I was able to get all the "ducks in a row" so hang in there! Your day is coming!!!! I'll be rooting for you- just keep checking in, be super sweet ( I almost had to pour syrup on them to get a answer) & know we have your back!

Geez, does anyone actually get approval without jumping threw hoops. I have the same problem. I was on the phone for the second day trying to find out where my request for surgery is. Amy from Dr. Gupta's office called me Wednesday to tell me she faxed my paper work to the inssurance company ( Anthem) said she talked to a supervisor to confirm the fax was received and she said I should hear something soon to call and check up on Tuesday, I gave them an extra day since we had the holiday, and so I called Wednesday and they said they have nothing on record of being sent, so I called again today and they gave me two fax numbers to give to Amy. So I call Amy who you never get to talk to,  just voice mail telling you that she will return your call in 24 hours. So here I sit wondering what supervisor lost my info, and if she just decided to throw it in the trash. So guess what I have been doing all day? If you guessed eating your right! Sorry for venting but I have had to do the six month diet and that ended in April and Iam still waiting...... I may gain a ton by the time I have the surgery..... Tracey

I feel your pain!  AllI can say is stay on your Insurance company! Good luck!  It took me about 8 weeks or so to get it in the right hands at Anthem!
