It is 7:30 am and NoOne has started the thread this morning??? Whats up with that?!?!?  lol Time to go back to work today.  After I head to the gym first of course.  Yesterday was a wonderful day to get to spend with the girls.  Jimmy and I took them to Marengo Caves, which is only about 25 miles away from us.  It was so neat and interesting to tour the cave.  We walked inside for well over an hour, and I never once got tired.  Afterward, we even went on a nature trail hike, and that was really fun too.  We decided to celebrate Molly's birthday early, since she will be in Arkansas on her birthday this year, and we will be at Holiday World with the rest of you! LOL  She wanted to go to Miguel's for supper, so we went and enjoyed ourselves there as well.  Afterward, we went to the park and just spent the evening outside on the swings and slide!  I would swing with them, and I actually could fit in the swing seat! It was so exciting to be able to do things with them. Nothing else much going on.....just getting ready to hit the gym.  I haven't been in the past few days, and I know I must stick to it if I am going to reach my goal of participating in the 5K in October!  Have a wonderful day all and enjoy it!

Good morning everyone and TGIF! We don't have any big plans for the weekend. I think I'm gonna pick up some tomato plans since my seedlings are so small. I'm going to look for me some overalls this weekend too. This BS of my waist going from 33" to 38" within 4 hours is really getting old! I have NO idea how to dress in the morning. I figured with overalls, my waist would have room to grow without me having to worry about keeping them up when it decides to return back to normal. I need to organize my guest room too. So...I may be kept pretty busy between shopping, planting & organizing. Of course, I'll probably try to pick up some more apples too Gail...lol.                          Well..I am on page 7 of a 20 page report to proop-read so I guess I better get back at it..lol!                      Have a wonderful day!                 Sherri 

Good morning everyone!!  My husband and son went to Marengo Caves a few weeks ago for my sons field trip, it was like a two hour drive for them, the school got charter buses for them, they had a blast!  Got tons of pics.  I am going to go with them sometime after surgery. When is everyone going to Holiday World?  If my surgery is done by then it would be nice to go.  I love those places, I haven't been since I was a teenager, I fear trying to get on a ride and not fitting, that would be so embarassing!!  So I have just avoided those places. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Good morning all! I have to go to a funeral today. It is a firefighter in a town near ours that died in the line of duty so he is getting the full firefighter funeral.  I have been to one once before and it sure is a neat thing. Not that funerals are neat or anything but they are neat to see if you know what I mean. Not much going on this weekend, just having a little get together for my daughters birthday tomorrow.  She is finally better from the mono....thank god! Well everyone have a great day

Greetings from sick land. Q and I are both sick. BLAH! We went to the doc yesterday. I have bacterial rhinitis. Q has bacterial rhinitis, viral sinuitis and pus on his left tonsil. We both feel like doo-doo! Hopefully we'll start feeling better soon.

Darrah posted yesterday on her myspace blog that her and the new baby are now home. Her and Chris named him Nathan. She has a picture of him up already and he's so adorable with massive dark hair.

Gonna talk Q in possibly taking an early nap, hahaha!

Good morning everyone. I hope that all is well, and Jodi I hope that you two feel better really soon.  Nothing much going on here right now. I do have a somewhat busy afternoon ahead of me though.  I have to go out to Chesterton to get my gf, bring here back in to Portage to the shuttle to O'Hare airport. She is going to Texas for a week to see her daughter. She is thinking of moving out there to be closer to her daughter.  After I get her to the shuttle I am going into Valparaiso and go to Barnes and Nobles bookstore and get a C.D. that I have wanted and never thought about B&N's having it. My cousin came over yesterday and we got to talking and I asked him who did the album because my brain went old at that moment. lol He told me Iron Butterfly and I told him that I wanted it soooo bad and had to find it somewhere. He called B&N's and they had it for $12.99. I just have to check to make sure that it the one that I want. I am going to go and get it~WOO HOO!!! I am sooooo happy that I could do a dance~in fact I think I am~  I am going to pay my cable bill while I am in Valpo and then it is done for the month of June. I am going to be glad about that one.  Today is sunny and a bit warmer. Even though it is early it seems warmer than it had been at this time. Well, I guess it isn't THAT early after all. lol It is overcast but the allergy weather was terrible yesterday and I have a feeling it is going to be the same today. I got in the car yesterday and sneezed all the way to the church and home! It must be cottonwood time a comin'. I have so many though so it could be about anything. lol Just call me the sneezing fool!   or maybe just a fool.   It just depends on the day. I better get going since I have gone on long enough. I am sending all love and big hugs and prayers for the day. Special ones are going up for those in need.

Good Morning All!  It's such a beautiful day so far.  I got a walk in this morning and will do another this evening if it's not storming.  Went for my one week check up yesterday and all is well.  Got help with finding protein that I can tolorate.  I was a bit discouraged but now I know I can do this!!  No-one has let me drive - even though the surgery instructions said I could drive when off the pain meds - which I am.  So announced today I would drive.  My husband is telling everyone I've been set free!!  Have a great day!! Marengo Cave sounds neat.  We are camping in Spring Mill the end of August.  We plan to hit the casino so maybe we'll check out the cave too.   Jenny, your post sent chills up my spine.  My son is a firefighter and I try not to think about how dangerous it is.  He's taken some EMT training and I wish he'd persue that farther instead of more firefighter training.  He's 22 and thinks he is invincable.  Nothing big planned for this weekend. Tomorrow moring I get my hair colored and cut.   We are digging holes in our yard trying to find a water line.  We are putting up a new barn for our RV and it sits right over where the water line runs to the other barn.  We want to tap into it for the new barn but have to find it first!  Any ideas?   If it doesn't rain we have a lot of mowing to do and weeds to dig.  A lot of mundane mindless tasks. I've missed a lot of posts over the last week. Just haven't had time to get on.  Is everthing a go for the Middlebury campout in Aug?  I'll call Hope and put in my reservation if it is.  What is this about a Holiday world campout???  Did I miss something there? Greetings all! It sounds like many are off to a great start! Jodi take care of you and the little one, and I hope you are feeling better soon! I am so excited...a few more minutes and I am off work till the 12th of June! Woo Hoo! Off to Vegas for some warmth, rest and relaxation! I had so many clothes I wanted to take I actually did a spreadsheet to organize them! LOL I am soooo ready for this vacation! Lots of sunshine and time to get caught up on my reading! We have friends there so I always get to run with them and see parts of Vegas that most tourist don't know about so that is a blast. I will be sure and get back to you all on the 11the when we are back. so...if you don't see me you will know why. Take care of yourselves and keep smiling...life is so wonderful!
