Reccomendations for blenders

I am trying to buy things now that I will need for lapband surgery.  I am trying to decide what type of blender to get.  I have the basic blender with the big glass pitcher.  But I was going to find something smaller to make my shakes and puree my food and stuff like that.  I thought about getting the magic bullet, but it is a little pricey for me right now.  I saw a small blender at walmart that blends in the same cup you drink from, but will I need a food processer too?  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think my Wal Mart has a blender like the bullet but it is put out by someone else and it is like half the price. I would think that you could use it just like the bullet. I was going to get one of them but I am just keeping the old blender that I have. It is probably just like the one you have now~just a smaller size of the glass pitcher.  When I was on pureed foods I did a larger amount than I was needing at the moment and kept them in containers. That way I didn't have to pull the blender out each time. I just popped the food in the microwave to heat it up. That was easier on me. Just an idea.

The Magic Bullet is great, but you can find other brands that are just like it but cheaper.  It's the perfect size and you will use it constantly, especially for your protein shakes.
