Well, tomorrow makes two months since surgery, I have lost a total of 30 pounds since surgery.
I had my first fill the 15th, 3cc's were put in.  I only feel restriction in the mornings.
I need to make better food choices, for the most part I have been doing ok, but I haven't been measuring out my food or making the best choices.  I need to get back on track, I am just hungry all the time.  I try not to snack between meals, I have been taking all my vitamins and drinking alot.  I started walking about 1 mile a day, sometimes more.
I need to find some workout dvd's that I can actually do.  Most of them I start out ok, but I can never keep up, it is so frustrating!  Any ideas?
Another frustrating thing is I have lost 30 pounds and 10 inches from my waist, so why am I still wearing the same pants as before surgery???  I am in 22's, I have bought 20's but they are too tight!!  I figured with the weight and inches I would be down in sizes.  My shirts are getting too big for me.

Not an expert on Lap band... someone will reply soon about the hungry feeling.. Usually when I get hungry.. I am really just thirsty and a glass of milk or some water wil fill the need..

Ok...first off thirty pounds is an awesome loss!!!! Be very proud of this amount in only two months. I know exactly how you feel as far as the pants sizes! ai started out in a tight 32 and am in a tight 28 now...if I am not bloated from TOM! My shirts have gone down one size and my bras....which I am thrilled with that area losing. Tired of being big chested! I am mostly dropping in my face and neck and shoulders as well as my hands. My "shelf on my butt is gone but my gut is stil there. We all lose in weird places. Patience is unfortunately the hardest thing to have with the band since you still have to do most of the work and just let it be a tool. Yes...exercise. I take my grandson out for walks as often as my back will allow. Otherwise I do at least 1/2 hour of heavy cleaning at home to work up a sweat and move. Most of all...move everyday! How many calories are you taking in? How much fluids? How much protein? You need to check with your Dr and see what he wants you to do. If one or more are too much or not enough...that can slow your loss down. What are his expectations for yo? My Dr wants 1-2 lbs a week. 80 grams of protein a day max. 80 ozs of fluids a day also. I drink alot of water so that is no problem. The best thing I have done to motivate me is keep a diary. record your intake with calories and protein grams everyday. Keep it all down on paper. I noticed I was taking is way too many calories and not near the protein that I needed. Plus I started to see a pattern on my "cheating" . It can be a real eye opener! Hope any or all of this helps!

I am relatively newly banded so I don't have alot of band experience yet.  However, over the past few years, I have managed to lose and gain anywhere from 50-80 lbs 2 or 3 times.  When I lost before, I also lost from the head down.  At about 20 lbs, people could tell in my face, but because I was so large to start with, it took about 50 lbs before people were noticing routinely.  The last time, I lost from 330 down to 259.  I went from a 30 to a 26 or sometimes 24, but that was with 71 lbs.  Be patient.  You'll get there.  With regards to workout videos, i think the Richard Simmons videos are great from someone who is large enough that they can't keep up with a regular workout.  I was able to stick with them for the most part.  As far as your restriction goes, remember that most people take a few fills to reach good restriction.  Just do your best to follow the band rules until t hen.  The time until you reach restriction is the hardest part about the band.  Hang in there.  Drink, drink, drink and exercise.  Both of those things will help reduce your hunger a little.
