plastics..anyone have BCBS MI?

Does anyone have BCBS of MI? Have they paid for any PS?

take a look at your policy and see what they cover.  look under "reconstructive plastic surgery"

Most BCBSM contracts will only pay for the abdominplasty.  It is to remove the excess skin in the stomach area.  There is a medical critera you need to meet in order to have it paid for.  Basically you need to have lost 100lbs and maintained that loss for a period of time and also have a medical condition to go with it.  hernia, rashes, etc.   Your plastic surgeon will be able to tell you exactly what they will cover and what they will not.
