Has anyone tried the power crunch bars? Are they something that is easy to eat with a band? Thanks

ABSOLUTELY!!!! I posted the same exact question not 2 weeks ago! I found several people really liked them. And recommended them. Noone said they didn't like them. I got my first order in the end of last week. They are good! Makes you feel like you're cheating! But you aren't!!! I save one a day. That's all my "snack" It helps me feel like I'm being decadent. Thank you! I will try them! I am having my band installed on Teusday and I am looking at keeping my house stocked with things that are good, low carb, sugar etc. and easy with the band. Do you have any other suggestions? I also am curious about cheese. I love cheese and it is low carb, full of protien and very filling. Is cheese something that is hard to eat with the band? I just keep seeing visions of it 'sticking' as I have read on here so often with other things. Any tips you can give me would be much appreciated! Thank you! Heidi~

I keep LF yogurt, cottage cheese, monteray Jack, swiss, any of the "white Cheeses" they are lower in sodium and I cut a block into 2oz. chunks and put them in snack sized ziplocs. Just grab it and snack! I also get the LF-low sodium peanut butter. I grab a spoon full once in a while and have as snack. But, I know some people can't tolerate this. I am going in for my 2nd fill today, so we'll see if I end that habit. Take care, Marti

Hi Heidi, I've never tried the power crunch bars-but I have tried the EAS bars. Most likely sold in the same aisle. I find them great to keep in my purse in case I need to eat and there are no good options available. THe EAS bars are dense-so make sure to chew, chew, chew but they do fill you and hold for 3 or so hours. Sometimes I can't finish a whole bar. Hope this helps and good luck with the band. Joan
