Sex after band question..

I am embarassed to ask this but here goes: does having sex in the good old missionary position (man on top) pose any problem to the band? Can it dislodge the port or anything?

Not for me. You could always try doggie style so you can both see the TV.

But I have noticed that jeans with a tight waist sort of push the fat above up and I can feel some pain from that so maybe it's a placement thing?

I have been banded for almost a year and I have not had any problems with any positions.

Don't be embarrassed - you can ask ANYTHING around here.... LOL No problems here... I've been banded since July '06. It's actually more comfortable now that I've lost weight - LOL I was worried in the beginning about the port - but have never had any problems and don't really think about it now.

Okay here it goes.....and you said that we could ask anything........... I've been wondering this same question....... my husband and I enjoy sex......So how long after surgery can my husband and I have HOT MONKEY SEX........and I am sure some of you are laughing but man oh man......its HOT.....
