Does eating soup stop your weight loss?

I still do soups occasionally. The Campbell's "Soup at Hands" are very convenient for work. Its not the soup that makes you gain, its the fact that it doesn't stay in the stoma and you feel hungry faster. If you can fight the urge to eat or snack between meals because of that it is fine.

great answers already! It's not tht soup is "bad" but that it goes thru quickly and doesn't keep us fuill long - so we snack. Unles it is full of meat (as a meal of 2-4 oz solid meat), it is not going to cause the "calorie burn" that digesting solids do. This counts for a lot of calories over time, if we have soup very often. the very think soups, if fill of meay, veggies, and beans, are fine - ot, dri nk all the loquid off a thinner soup first - then eat all the meat and veggies. IMO, if we have a soup, it should have all the nutrients of the meal we missed - good prteoin, good carbs, doime fiber, etc. the totwlly-liquid soups don't. But anytghing is o****asionally. !
