OT From the Garden
Well the last time we planted was about 5 years ago so we've just been growing weeds. Due to a bad back I gave it up, but my back is much better now so I'd like to start growing again, I used to grow carrots, beets, green beans, tomato and spring onion, Rosemary (it's still in there but over grown) and some bulb flowers. I had a huge problem with tomato worms (Ugly) and we grew corn one year but it had worms too.
Anyway, I don't even know what to plant at this time of year, any suggestions.
Thank you,
Lyndee

Thanks! Next year I am trapping the darned squirrles and relocating them . . . to the compost pile!! Only kidding! They are gonna go, but I will let them loose at a local park or something. Then do make a real mess with the walnuts in the Fall too!

We have tomatoes, corn, ruhbarb, zucchini, squash, watermelons, cantelope, and a herb garden. The only things that are ready right now are the zucchini, herbs and tomatoes. I have been making zucchini bread the last 2 days, I can't eat it but am giving alot away. I love the fresh herbs too, it taste so much better than the dried type. I have always wanted to do green bean, but have never tried. Maybe next year!
