The Lapband Baby has Arrived!!!!!

This will be a quick post for now since I have literally only had hours of sleep in these past few days and last night was the worst. Baby Jonah was born on tuesday, Oct 9th and 9:10 pm after mommy went through 13 hours of hard labor!!! He weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. I will post his birth story and more pics later...I just wanted to update. Here is a shot of him from just a second ago sleeping in my bed. He is soooo adorable, I could just kiss his cheeks right off!!!!                               Jonah Ashton Johnson

Robynm, he's perfect!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!  I remember the no sleep.  One thiong I learned quickly when my second child came along is to use the crockpot!  When I did the 5am feeding and got the little one back down for a bit longer, then I'd throw whatever was in the house in the crockpot.  Always when it would have been time to prepare dinner, both children (oldest was 3.5) would need me.  I don't know how I would have fed us otherwise and the crockpot makes nice moist meals.  Good luck!
