POLL: What do you do with your too-big clothes?

As I've been re-sorting closets again today I was wondering what everyone else does with the clohes they've shrunk out of. Anyone hold on to them 'just in case', donate them to fellow WLS buddies, give them to Goodwill or the like, or just trash them. I've been passing mine on to a fellow band buddy.  And in turn I've been getting huge bagfuls of clothes from another band buddy who as of today has lost 133 pounds!!!!   So, what do YOU do?

I take mine to a consignment shop. Get a little bit of money that way. I really don't have anyone togive them to.

If they are nice clothes and in great condition, I sell them on Ebay.  I give some to someone who may need them.  I donate some to Goodwill.  I refuse to keep them "just in case" but I do buy clothes a size or two smaller when on sale for "when I can"!

I was working when I was at my highest weight,  since I have lost weight, and now unable to wear them mostly business clothes I had my hubby take them over to the battered women and children center for women that were in need of business clothes to go to interviews to start a new life for them.    I felt better they go there. I sell my good ones on Ebay or to friends...some I give away and the rest goes to Charity shops. Sharyn

I have a friend that had the rny so she gives me her clothes and I give what I don't want and what I have undergrown to the other girls at our support group meeting.  What ever is left gets taken to good will. I went shopping last night and bought a pair of pants and 2 sweaters (onsale) my problem is that my head is not where my body is and I continue to try on and actually bought a size too big.  I still need to work on my head game!

I am the last of my 4 co workers to have WLS so I inherit tons of clothes.  I pass along anything that is too big to friends. The really fancy stuff like the gowns and sequined dresses I did send to a friend who has a consignment shop in Manhatten.  The business suits and nicer office wear (we have since gone business casual) goes to the shelter for battered women.  I have a special place in my heart for those ladies and anything I can do to get them in a better place makes me feel pretty good.  I did make a tote of summer clothing (before surgery) and just forgot and put it away for next year  lol....It will be nice to take the entire tote and give it away.   Susan

I have a SWEET deal with my friend. She sells things on Ebay. She spends loads of time at consignment shops, Salvation Army etc looking for really good clothes that she can sell (I don't know if that's okay or not, but whatever). Anyway, I give her all my own clothes and in turn, she's my personal shopper and picks up good clothes for me at the Salvation Armies. She's hooked me up with Jones New York, Ralph Lauren, all kinds of great quality clothes.
-Maggie- A "STUCK" episode is kinda like the big "O". If you have to ask, you probably didn't have one.

Give them away and toss them!! I have given away so many clothes!! I love to bless folks with stuff.. Now my problem is I don't have any pants  and buying new things right now is not in the budget.. So I'm trying to be Diva FaBo in 3 pairs of pants one of which fits a little loose and the other is too tightbut the last is just right. Rea
