Anyone else turned off by "Rants and Raves"?

We may rant and rave in here, but I have rarely seen it get so horribly ugly. I feel like it would be wise to put on a Hazmat suit before anyone goes in there.

Bette, I admit to reading there when I am bored out of my mind but I feel like you. It's shocking. There is NOTHING supportive about it and I really do believe some of the people there are off their rockers. I've gotta say what surprises me is some of the people I really like from THIS BOARD are there all the time. Some more over there, than here! I just don't get that. I doubt very much you will ever see a post from me there. It's really not worth all the negative energy, **** slinging and backstabbing.  Repulsive truly is a good word for it.

Bette, I've never been over there and have only been attacked once by a DSer revised from the old type of lapband who comes on here with the specific intent to start trouble and try to turn newbies to the DS (DS -- the "dark side" -- hey, she's Darth Vader!).  But I've got to tell you while I understand the severity of what you are saying, you just crack me up!  Your vivid description brought immediate, flowing images to my mind and I am still LMAO: "I don't care if you decide to have your guts removed, your bowels unplucked, your lips sewn together and your ass glued shut, as long as you think it's the right method for you, and that it works." I pick and choose off the r&r board.  Some of it amuses me, some of it appalls me, but I enjoy reading what I want to over there and responding at will.   The surgery fights--who cares...I love my choke chain but it's a great place to watch the trolls come with their new id of the week.  I also was able to post my Monica Lewinsky birthday reminder without fear of moderation.
