Fill at time band is placed?

I know the answer typically is no. However, I was just wondering if any docs add saline at the time the band is placed.

Gina 6.4cc in 10cc band 3cc at time of surgery; 1st fill 3cc; 2nd fill 0.4cc

Hi, I was just banded last Tuesday! When the surgeon came to see me afterwards he told me he "gave me 3cc in a 14 cc band."

I have new the lap band ap and my doc placed 3cc during surgery also.

Hi, I too have 3cc put in at surgery, to this day, I have not needed a fill.

Hi my Doc put 2cc in my 10cc band when he operated. He didnt tell me though. I only found out at my first fill today

Normal is just a setting on the washing machine........ 6.6ml in a 10ml band

My doc said he doesn't fill until 4-6 weeks after surgery. Think I can try to talk him into a small fill at surgery?

Gina!!!!!! Hi! So glad to see you! I have heard that some surgeon do put a little in the band during surgery. Mine didn't. I think it just depends on the surgeon! Julie
