My husbands port is coming OUT of his incision! **added pictures**
I'm glad that your not "jumpin" on the doc as far as fault. It's easy to get emotional and start blaming. Looks like he may have had some infection as it healed pretty wide. Some folks are more prone to infection or have healing issues and he is prob. one of them.
Does your surg. think the revision will go smoother? Let us know how it goes, will be interesting to hear how it looks once she gets in there again.
Best of luck!!!

wow, I am so sorry! That is terrible. Not a good way to start his journey! Hopefully everything works out and he has a very enjoyable and successful rest of the time. Good luck to him with the revision. Wow..my heart goes out to you two!
Why do I love food when it doesn't love me back? Stupid food....doesn't understand our relationship yet!
Thanks for all the thoughts!
And just o get this out there too, his port was NOT originally that close or I guess it was deeper then it is now. It just worked its way back up since the stitches didn't hold.. kind of like a floating port I guess you could say.
She was sayin from the beginning of it not healing that she hopes the infection didn't get to the port..guess it did.
It really does stink and not just because he has to have another surgery but because he was so iffy on getting it done to begin with but saw how "easy" the recovery was for me and everything so he decided to do it. I feel bad that it is him and not me :( Not to mention this has been his only surgery or really anything medical in general. He has been lucky to not have any stitches or broken bones or anything ever!
With everything going on with our kids, AND the holidays it is a realy crappy time!
Any way I will keep you all posted
ETA: Some information about our kids is also in my blog.
