Lucky,

I think this would be a tasty option in the mushy or soft stage.  Here's a link to the recipe: http://jeanslapbandjourney.blogspot.com/search?q=lima+bean

Tracy,

PB2 is a reduced-fat peanut butter powder (not subject to the recent peanut butter recalls, by the way).  It can be reconstituted with water to make a paste which you can use like regular peanut butter, or you can add the powder to oatmeal, protein shakes, pudding, yogurt, etc.  There are lots of recipes at www.bellplantation.com.

You can buy PB2 from bellplantation.com (with a minimum order of 6 jars) or from www.netrition.com.

I am now 2.5 weeks postop, moving to thick liquids and semi-liquids (but not allowed soft foods until after week 4!)  I had a few days where I ate some soft foods and then realized I had skipped a stage of my surgeon's instructions.  They went down just fine, but now I need to backtrack.

Decaf coffee with nonfat condensed milk (I like it)
B: Protein Shake
S: SF pudding  (This wasn't allowed in weeks 1-2)
WATER or TEA - shopping for Magic Bullet
L: Ricotta cheese with marinara sauce
S: SF Jello
WATER or TEA
D: Cream soup with unflavored protein powder (doesn't sound too good to me)

I just realized I need more ideas for semi-liquid protein.

I had a fill last Sat, and have felt myself slip a bit for a day or two or maybe three, so today I am going to give it my best attempt to re-evaluate things and do liquids.  So
For Breakfast I have a Venti Soy Latte and 1 SF chocolate Soy instant BF.
L or maybe for snack~ I have a Naked All Natural Protein Juice Smoothie...looks like pineapple, cocnut.orange and those kinds of flavors.
S or maybe L~ some sort of cream soup.  I am at work so we'll see what type of soup is being served today.
D~ not so sure.  DH BF brought over some Mexico deep sea Tuna(I think) so I may try that only b/c it's such good protein)

Gotta start tellin my family I won't but them ready make cookies anymore.......they are too damn good.

I delivered 6 weeks early a 5lb 15oz lil boy:)  After spending 2 months on bed rest in the hospital and Mason spending 11 days in the NICU, we're both home and doing great!  Mason is getting bigger and gaining weight like he should.  Now it's my turn to lose this weight!  It's tough to get back on the band wagon...I CAN do this!

B: 2 cups coffee with splenda and creamer
1 scrambled egg topped with salsa

L: either a slimfast or a bowl of black bean soup

s: banana or popcorn

D: We're going out to a wing place with a bunch of friends. Hubby is going to do some kind of hot wing challenge. LOL So I'll probably have a small side salad and maybe a glass of wine...I hate wings!
