Kate the fanny pack is so true - I cant say it to the kids when I'm teaching, its rude..........  the lifeguards all wear "safety packs"  well they do in my class.

Toosh is american for butt which is american for bum;
chips here are crisps, very odd when you get a sub and chips (long roll and crisps)

I keep an old wash cloth with me too, or wipes, so that I can wipe my face and hands when I have too. Amazing how you can drive on the expressway and PB at the same time.

I have never experienced this problem in my 18 months but being the daughter of a long time bandster has taught me a few tricks!

I keep a ziploc baggies in the glove compartment (aka barf bag) along with a couple of those wet wipe packets you get at rib joints and KFC type places!  There's also a pack of almonds and the crystal light to go pouches in there for quickie food and drink.

They come in handy for all sorts of messes kids make as well as insurance for the inevitable PB situation one of us might have!

I've actually taken a small airplane barf bag (took a few) and keep in my pocketbook, car etc.  but coffee cup works too.

Kate, you crack me up trying to "Americanize" how you talk about things.  It's so much more fun to hear you say it your way!   : )   ( I love reading books by Sophie Kinsella/ Madeleline Wickham... love that British slang!)

I have to show my ignorance here... I get what you're talking about with "PB"... but please tell me what it stands for?  I haven't caught on to all these acronyms yet!

P.S.  Holiday = Vacation  : )
