OT: Ovulation Pain and The Pill ??

I was told I had mettelschmertz over 15yrs ago and it was so bad I overdosed on pain pills and once wreaked my car from the pain. I am not expert by far but you have a period on the pill so you do ovulate I think.  I was put on depo provera and have not had a period and no pain at all.  Good luck

I resked my doc appointment for next week because....I GOT MY PERIOD FINALLY!!! YAY!!!

I will start on my pills tonight and I am going to really start keeping closer track of this stuff.  It is amazing to me that there are other women out there who have experienced mettelschmertz while ON the pill. Makes me feel like I am not so crazy afterall.

Ovulation DOES stop while you are on the pill. (The pill tricks you body into thinking it is pregnant so an egg is not released.) That is why my doctor said it can't be mettelschmertz because I am not releasing an egg but I SWEAR I can feel that little bugger break out of there every month!!
