I just met Filipe and Sione from The Biggest Loser
They were at the Fry's supermarket (Kroger) representing this new Vitamin Water stuff called “Holistics Herbal Elixir" and giving samples, coupons, etc. I talked with Sione about weight loss and my band, exercise, etc. They both look fantastic and have kept the weight off. It has been a year since their season ended. It was nice to see that their hard work and efforts have worked and continue to work for them. They asked who I was rooting for this season and said “Not those other Tongans are you? They copied us". (kidding). They were very nice guys.
That is so neat. What Fry's were they at? I had the same surgery and doc as you. You are doing very well. I had my band put in in Oct. 08 and have lost 70lbs. I've been having a very hard time with lots of low blood sugars (I take insulin) and it is very diffcult to lose weight when you are a type1 diabetic. I'm going to try and go to the support group at TR tomorrow night. Please let me know if you are and we can meet each other.

They were at the Fry's at 20th and Camelback (I was there on my lunch break), but they are at another Fry's today at 4:00 pm and then I think more throughout the week. You might want to check the Fry's website and find out when they will be on the West side.
My Dad had type 1 diabetes and it was sooooo difficult to figure out from hour to hour what to eat, not eat, etc. I know it is very hard to deal with that.

Awwww....they were my favorites on that season. I was hoping one of them would have won the whole thing.
And yes......Sam is really lookin good these days. LOL I learned that Sam is now dating Stephanie, the girl who had the long, dark hair who was voted out a few weeks ago.
