Anyone have any experience with that and if so, what did you do to shrink it? Doc's assistant says to just eat smaller meals and drink lots of fluids. Ate entirely too much while being completely unfilled due to reflux...not smart!! Thanks and look forward to any info!

I haven't been diagnosed with a stretched pouch or esophogus, but my understanding is that they usually recommend being totall unfilled in hopes that the pouch will go back to the original size.  Do you think you stretched your pouch when you were UN-filled?  My understanding is that it usually happens when you're too tight and/or over-fill your pouch consistently over time.  Have you been diagnosed with a stretched pouch or are you just concerned becuase you ate a lot while un-filled?

i too was over-filled. the dr. took some out, now i'm gaining weight. went back to dr., he did the flor-bar. swallow, said my pouch was dilated, he wouldn't do a fill. told me to come back in 3 months. since this problem started i was at 198lbs, from 288. today i'm at 238. don't know whats going to happen. i'm trying to exercise and watch what i eat. don't want to regain all that weight. i hope the pouch will go down.

I believe it was stretched during my unfill, at least that is how it appeared during my fill yesterday which was under fluro. I have been unfilled for about a month now due to some reflux issues I was having.
