Why Am I PAYING Walmart to do Their Employee’s Job???

Ok here it goes……..pet peeve time. Self-checkout lines at Walmart! It’s not like they don’t  make enough money off of us already………but they want us to ring up our own items and NOT give us a discount?! I don’t think so! Now I wouldn’t mind doing the checkout thing myself………if there were a discount. Not like they can’t afford it. Look at how much money they are saving having customers scan our own items! They can’t pass that on to the customers that help them save all that money? I GUESS NOT!

  

 

Perhaps I should cut my own lawn and then pay the lawn guy for not doing it? Well if he had the Walmart mentality he would have suggested that to me, lol.

This is one reason why I don't go to Wal Mart hardly ever.  I think I've been there twice in 2010, this year I would like to make it zero times.

I know! I mean I expect them to make a profit, after all it is a business, but give me a break! U want me to ring up my own stuff and NOT discount it any?!

There are a whole lot of reasons I don't go to Walmar****ch the documentary "The High Cost of Low Prices"  Walmart is evil.  There are cheaper places to get my groceries!!!!

I won't use those self-scan checkouts.  I will wait in line, thank you.  We have them at our grocery stores, but not our WM - at least we didn't have them the other day.  They have asked me to go to the self-check-out stations multiple times and offered to help me - as if I wasn't smart enough!  I tell them no, I'll wait and save a job.  Not that all WM employees are ignorant or anything, but when they take away all the entry-level and non-degreed jobs, then what?  I may need that job someday, so I'm not going to help them do away with it.

Non self-checkouters unite! Lol.

Notice they don't have us doing our own refunds at customer service when we have to return their crappy stuff, lol.

I'm the exact opposite, I always head for the self checkout, not just at WalMart. LOL The line is usually shorter and I don't have to deal with anyone. They have them in the regular grocery stores, too. You'll see me in that line.

Oh I know. My husband likes the self-checkout. He says it's quicker. But they are just gonna have to pay me if they want me to work, lol.

Our Walmart doesn't have self checkout.. However our Superfresh and Home Depot has that option .   Some people like it better because its usually quicker if you just have a few items.

Thats the way the world is going now.. self everything.  Remember having someone put the groceries IN your car.. or pump your gas for you at the stations and check your oil and clean your windows??     Those days are gone as well. Pretty soon we will have to go and pick up our own mail daily when they get rid of mailmen.  lol
