I was able to read your post hours ago before I left for work and I thought how incredibly amazing you are to shave your head for those children. I admire you and what you do. Band removed and feeling alive with energy!
Bette, I don't know what happened since it looks like the posts are missing. I think what you're doing to help the kids is fantastic. It sure takes a brave, strong woman to shave her head. I don't think I'd ever have the courage. Please, don't let what some mean person says stop you. These kids need all the help they can get.
I work with a non-profit group called Quilts for Kids. We make quilts for sick and abused children. Many of the children have cancer. I've done many deliveries to the units and spent time with these kids. It's heartbreaking. I'm always amazed at the amount of spirit these kids have. Bette, please don't stop what you are doing. I pray everyday that people like you will help to put us out of business!
