3 lapbands... anyone else?

True, true, and you don't want people to miss the message due to not liking the delivery.  Plus being angry all the time just leaves people wondering who pissed in your cheerios.

I remember well my angry Pumpkin days. Maybe if people would stop scooping out all muh seeds I wouldn't be so angry....

OKAY KAREN, I KNOW YOU LOVE YOUR BANDS BUT YOU MUST KNOW THAT BANDS ARE NOT SLID IN AND OUT.  BANDS ARE DISSECTED OUT AS SCAR TISSUE GROWS. THIS IS VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS.

A GOOD SURGEON DOES NOT RE-BAND AFTER AN EROSION AND A NEW ONE AFTER THAT - IS THIS A JOKE.
OUR INSIDES ARE ALIVE AND SOFT, THE BAND IS HARD NO MATTER HOW UPDATED IT IS.  ADJUSTABLE GASTRIC BANDING IS HIGH PRESSURED NO MATTER THE MANUFACTURER OR MODEL.

SORRY BUT AT THIS RATE, I CAN'T EVEN SYMPATHIZE WITH YOU.  YOU MY DEAR NEED TO OPEN YOUR EARS AND EYES AND USE YOUR HEAD INSTEAD OF BEING HEAD OVER HEELS FOR YOUR SURGEON AND HIS "CENTER OF EXCELLENCE"

A BAND AFTER EROSION (HELLO, YOUR STOMACH WORE OUT AND RIPPED AROUND THE BAND).  YOU SHOULD SUE THE *******S AND TAKE EACH ONE OF YOUR BANDS AND HANG THEM UP BESIDES YOUR BED LIKE DREAM CATCHERS - YOU'LL HAVE BETTER LUCK WITH THEM OUT THAN IN.

DON'T YOU GET IT?  BESIDES IT ALL IF LOSING WEIGHT WAS YOUR MAIN OBJECTIVE NO MATTER THE COST - YOU STILL HAVEN'T OBTAINED THAT.  IT IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE.  i KNOW YOU LOVE YOUR BANDS, BUT PLEASE DON'T GET A FORTH BAND IF THIS DOESN'T PAN OUT!

Well, rest assured you don't have MY sympathy.  And you won't have it when you have the total gastrectomy and start posting about life without a stomach. That's because at some point, whatever happens down the road is all your fault.  It will be too bad...but at least it will be happening to someone *****fused to listen to common sense instead of some innocent person.

In all honestly I though the OP's original post was a joke...until all of the responses started coming in. 

My issue is with the surgeon.  It really bothers me deeply that a surgeon would do that (implant three lap-bands after one has already eroded).  I don't know why it concerns me soo much, when it's not me that's being directly affected.  I guess it just scares to me to know that there are health care professionals out there *****ally don't give a rat's a** about "you."  At the end of the day some doctors are just trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible, so they don't have to deal with you anymore.  That really bothers me.
