Time for a fill

Hi everybody I haven't been on lately due to recerting my EMT. I have finally called to get my first fill. The little devil incision hole has closed up. My wife said that it was just my meanness coming out of me thats why it took 5 weeks yes 5 weeks to heal. Now it is a litle tiny pinhole with no leaking meanness fluid. So fingers crossed I will be able to turn my 46 pound loss into 20 more hopefully. The best thing about it is is that i feel great.

I'm due for a 2nd fill and will be getting one hopefully next week!  Good luck on the recerting if you're still doing it!  And it's awesome ain't it to be feeling great!?!?

what is recerting emt??

He has to recertify his Emergency Medical Technician license.  He is a fire fighter I believe.

Hello I am glad to hear your success. Good luck on getting recertified.Could you please tell me would you reccomend the realize banding? This is what I am thinking about doing? If so have you had any complications?

    I highly recommend the realize band the only thing that went wrong with mine is that a stitch by the port incision wanted to get angry and come out to the surface so it has taken about 5 weeks for it to close but the open hole was only the roundness of a pen clicker  about 1/64th of an inch around but that had nothing to do with the band. My surgeon said that for the most part it only happens to a diabetic but i'm not a diabetic so it was my wierd body that did it. If I had to get the surgery again it would be the realize band although the lap band has made leaps and bounds to where they are both right on the same line of success.

Glad you are doing good and the wound has almost healed completely.  Wishing you luck with the recertification.  I miss recertifying mine.  Been a long time.

I am glad to hear that the devil has closed up and that you're good to go for your first fill!!  You've done AMAZINGLY well considering everything you've had to go through, and I'm so proud of you!!
