Topic: RE: Tummy tuck after weight loss
I had my panniculectomy (tummy tuck) and abdominoplasty (upper muscle tightening) two weeks ago. The tummy tuck was covered by insurance but the other was not. I paid $1500 out of pocket for it.
Topic: RE: did or does your surgeon
Dr. You has a $300 program frr for the 6mth nutrition program (if your insurance requires you do one) or $150 if your insurance only requires you do 3 months. You have until it's time to schedule surgery to finish paying for it.

I think they all do but check what is inclusive and what isn't. For example I found one surgeon in VA who charged a $2200 or $2800 fee and it didn't include the psych eval or other testing. My doc had a $600 that included pretty much evertything, psych eval, nutrition, personal trainer, etc.
Another doc in MD required about a $600 fee to go through her nutrition program even though I had already completed the nutrition requirement.

Topic: Huge Clothing Swap event in Arlington, VA (Xpost locally)
I plan on going so if anyone wants to meet up let me know!
http://worldswapday2012.eventbrite.com/ We're celebrating World Swap Day on January 21, 2012. Join the DC Goodwill Fashionista at our Arlington Goodwill store location as we swap women's clothing, shoes and accessories. You'll have a chance to mix and mingle with other savvy Goodwill shoppers and spread a little "swaplove." We'll be offering $1 raffle tickets for some great prizes: Two Goodwill gift certificates, free admission to a future swap event by our friend DewdropDC, and an entire Rock Band set! The funds from raffle ticket sales will go directly to Goodwill of Greater Washington's job training and support programs. Our World Swap Day fun will proceed as follows: 10:30—11:30 a.m.:
Arrive at Goodwill's second-floor space (Goodwill's Arlington Career Center), check in, and drop off at least five items to be swapped. 11:30 a.m.—noon:
Meet your fellow Goodwill shoppers, have a snack, enter the raffle, and get ready to swap! (We'll give you a reusable tote bag to gather your goodies.) Noon—1 p.m.:
Swap! Grab as many items as you can fit into your tote bag. Share amazing finds with other swappers. 2 p.m.:
When we wrap up, any clothing left behind will be donated to Goodwill of Greater Washington just downstairs!

Topic: RE: Not Doing So Great
Hi Wesley,
I'm pre-op and live in Silver Spring. Planning excercise for after surgery. I'm near downtown Silver Spring. There is a 24 hour gym in Kensington that I'm considering. Are you a member of a gym? I know Silver Spring is kind of large.

Hi Wesley,
I have not had my surgery yet but I can't get motivated at all! I have the same problem with work being a priority and I just can't get it together!
I love your profile picture. I do American Bulldog and Pit bull rescue in Baltimore.
Good luck! and get to the gym!
