I too have been call Lance ,or skinny ,or slim .

  ( Lance Armstrong ) Because I commute to work on my bike .

 Well, I'm not sure if he's being facetious or what, but sometimes when I go to my local Wal-Mart in the very early morning hours there is a certain stocker there, a tall, thin, A.A. guy, who sometimes will call out to greet me, "hey Slim, howya doin' ?" or some such when I walk by him  ...   I don't know if he knew me from back when I was a pre-op and is complimenting me, or maybe that is a "stranger nickname" common to persons of that ethnic heritage, or what's up  ..       Surely he doesn't think I'm thin compared to him (I'm @ 260 lbs. presently)? 

  Back right after I graduated high school (was already a little "portly" by then) we had a guy who owned the pharmacy in our little town .  Whenever I was in his drugstore he would call me "Slim", which I took to be quite facetious in his case back then ..      I'm still a little sensitve I guess whenever I hear someone call me that today 

 "Crazy" and "Unbelievable" and sometimes "Hard," because no one exercises much here in Japan. Intensity means you're doing something wrong and probably not enjoying life very much. All intensity must be followed by lots of beer and days of not doing much.

My wife calls me "Tripod" now.

When I was at about the 4 - 6  month stage, I'd hear "skinny" sometimes. A lady here in town who had RNY and is about 2 months behind me calls me "Slim Jim".  I call her "Fetchin' Gretchen" but I'm kinda stretchin'. I want somebody to call me "Schindler's List". That's how I'll know it's time to stop losing.

They have started calling me Slim Jim at work!

We had a WLS conference in Dallas and I was the only guy that went out on Saturday...with 10 girls!!!  I dont dance so all I did was stand in the center of the dance floor and was 'Da Pole".  GOOD TIMES...........
