Aooroval, at last

I was avoiding doing paper work in the office and decided to call Amerihealth (my insurance carrier) to see if I'd been approved yet.  They told me I'd been approved on November 1.  What a relief!!

No word from Dr. Boorse's office, but I assume the bariatric coordinator will call me soon enough to tell me what I alread know!

What a relief.  Thanks to you guys for the support you gave me along the way with my hissy fits.

Now my anxiety is starting to rise!!  LOL  Maybe I'd better get back to doing the annoying paper work.

I was so glad that you got approved..cause I was think someone at the insurance company was gonna get you with a stun gun..

now you gonna get antsy about the surgery...go find you a drink and a woman, and be calm...

Congratulations. Now come the fun part. All I can say is Hang on - it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

Congrats on your approval Henry! Now the emotional roller coaster will start to kick in - excitement, anxiety, doubt, impatience, etc.  We all had it - it's normal.

I don't think the insurance company was the one who was going to use the stun gun, I think it was my wife.  If I talked about this one more time, she was going to put me out of my misery.  LOL

WooHoo, Henry! Congratulations my good man. Your anxiety will certainly rise but it's a good anxiety. Your new life has officially begun.

One less hurdle!!  Follow the Four Mantras of Life Post WLS and you'll be doing great.  Anybody who says that they weren't at least a little apprehensive is lying to cover their ass!

Way to go Henry. I was just approved to for Dec. 11th surgery for the Realize band. The best of luck to you.
