Maybe a silly question
I didn't notice it going in or out during or after the surgery.

Lmao..I had the same fear brother..I too was already knocked out when they put mine in, Personally I dont think it's necessary but some surgeons do. When they removed it I just felt like I had to **** like a race horse for about an hour but once you finally **** without it a few times it's fine. On another note though..my friend and I accidentally Overdosed and was taken to the hospital..I was out and they put it in me and I bout jumped off the damn table lol, it was very painful cause they didnt take it easy on me...I pissed blood for 3 days after it was removed but they will go easy on ya Im sure. I must have pissed them off or something lol, but anyway...I hope to never have another one, thats something that will make any man cringe! Good luck and let us know how it went, take care

I've had one twice. The first time in 1980 when my appendix burst. The second was for my RNY. Both times was no big deal. I was out when they put them in.In 1980 when they took it out, the young female Navy Corpman forgot to deflate the little balloon that holds it in the bladder. I thought she was going to pull my guts out through my talleywacker :(.
The second time was no big deal. Didn't feel a thing.
I worreid about this as well pre-surgery, and yeah it was one of the things I was most concerned about hahah It was a "strange feeling" but with all of the other things and all the fluid they are pumping into you, you will come to accept this temporary modification.. ha ha! looking back though I can honestly say I was worried about nothing.
