If "vulture techs" are like "vulture cops" I am quite familiar! 
Granted the vast majority of the stuff I had was City property, so it was staying but I had a few things that I did offer to whoever wanted it or did not have one already. To wit: raincoat, new box of rubber gloves, etc.

Had a good week. Got the grass cut, hopefully last time. I'll probably get a tractor with a bagger next year and sell the zero turn. Wife wants clippings bagged and there is no bagger for my zero turn.
Started to clean out my bench at work. The other vulture techs are hovering around to see what I leave behind :-) Just over 6 weeks left until retirement, or semi retirement if my wife has her wish.

A few upsets in college football yesterday. Mizlou over TN, Texas Tech beat Kansas, A&M hammered Miss State.
Univ. of Southern Miss in Starkville next Saturday and prognostication is the potential for them to be State's last non-conference win is there but they won yesterday against Southwest Louisiana. Thanksgiving Day is Ol' **** and that ain't looking too good for State. Speculation is Zach Arnett is out at MSU but even after the big win Jimbo Fisher is out at A&M.
Back still making it presence known but hopefully have mowed the yard for the last time for this year!

162.5 this week, can't remember last week but I'm in range. Halloween candy is part of my everyday life, it's my lifelong challenge along with Ice Cream. Exercise has been good mostly because I'm taking care of 3 dogs that need a lot of walking and more.
I'm hoping to see my Jets win Monday night but a humiliating loss is also a possibility with a wildcard at QB.

Watching the WS and rooting for Texas who is now up 2-1 on the series. I still have a minor grudge on AZ for beating the Yankees in Game 7 2001 WS vs no less than our great Mariano Rivera on the mound.

Got a mowing in while we had a few days in the 70's. Cold front coming through so I better get the patio stuff put away.
Retirement at the beginning of January coming up quick. Yeah, I'm a little nervous. Contractor offered me to come back, which I may on a part time basis to ease into full retirement and double dip for a while. :-)

Back healing but still making me aware of it's existence.
Final football road trip this weekend. Fingers crossed get to see one win in person.

Weights consistent, health is good for an old guy.
I had a really lazy Saturday with my sons watching college football from Penn St-Ohio State at noon all the way thru Ariz State-Washington at 2am est. A lot of pizza, snacks, barbeque and indesgestine but still a great day.
