Total Head Hunger Craziness - And a little weird, I think?

Ok, I am going a little head crazy from the clear liquids and the full liquids. I'm not hungry, but eating puree is starting to sound like tucking into a Thanksgiving Feast, at least it's an opportunity to chew after a fashion sort of.  So at work today, there is an open bag of Doritos (Nacho Cheese) in the lounge. I kid you not - I could smell the seasonings on those Doritos AND on the people who had eaten those Doritos! I wasn't hungry at all, but I had such head hunger for the taste of the seasoning on those chips. Here is where it gets a little weird: I had no desire to eat any chips, but man the seasonings were bothering me. This is the great part: I knew full well I wasn't going to eat any chips. What I DID do, in a moment of total head hunger craziness, was take ONE chip back to my area and LICK IT. Yum, those flavorful seasonings! After that, I was good. Is this totally weird or what?

Strangely I think that's pretty normal in our world!

OMgosh I'm laughing out loud.  In the first weeks my husband made popcorn.  I didn't want to eat popcorn but wanted to taste it.  Put it in my mouth then spit it out into paper towels.  Crazy head hunger.

 How funny - I did the same thing back in my liquids day!!!  Licked the seasoning off a doritos and felt totally satisfied afterwards - I think it was the first few days home from surgery....but when I read your post I totally flashed back....we are all so alike sometimes:)

I have totally done that.  Once, my husband and I were at a golf tournament, and they served the best looking/smelling steaks.  This was when I was really nauseas and would have hurled them for sure.  So I would take a bite, suck on the juices and spit it into my napkin when I thought no one was looking.   Well, hubby noticed and starts killing himself laughing and going on and on about Sienfeld.  Lol
