""The standard carbonation for 'Coca-Cola' is 3.75 volumes. This means that for every milliliter of product in a container there is also 3.75 milliliters of gas compressed in the liquid. If you multiply the volume of the container in litres by 3.75 you will have the volume of Carbon Dioxide at STP (Standard Temperature and Pressure) in the container. ""

Beer is about 2.5 V/V.

Guinness is 1.2 V/V.

Water is 0 V/V.

V/V means volume of compressed Co2 per volume of fluid.

My Doc says "No carbonation."

Pepsi Shaken

Each 16 oz bottle of pepsi contains about 2.2 grams of carbon dioxide under pressure dissolved in the liquid! That is enough gas to fill up a liter bottle at standard temperature and pressure!

Thats a LOT of farts in there!  LOL

My DR. says absolutely no carbonation!  I stopped drinking soda about a year before having surgery, so it's been easy to follow that rule.  I know.  That doesn't seem fair to those who were still drinking Cokes the month before surgery.

Not only that, the freaking carbs they have. I looked at a 20oz bottle of pepsi and it had 2.5 servings wich equaled 70 grams
