It doesn't really turn into a banana shape until about 6 months and by a year it's kinda sorta lumpy and mis-shapen.

I'm sure I've seen xrays of others that look just like a banana....
The only x-rays I have are immediately post op and what I think is my stomach looks like half an egg.
I was filing my labs in my WLS folder and stumbled upon my xray. I hadn't looked at it since I was immediately post op - when I had no idea what to expect (in terms of shape/size, etc.).
I'm sure I've seen xrays of others that look just like a banana....

When you first come out of surgery your stomach looks like a hot dog. It's a tube. It doesn't stretch out to a banana until about 4-6 months post op. ;o)
