Has your shoe sized changed since your surgery?

Okay... I know this may seem weird but... I know sometimes when you lose weight, your shoe size changes... and I am curious if this is something I should expect... The floor is open for discussion..

Awseome!  Right now, I wear size 11M and it is hard to find shoes... It would be nice to go back down to a 10!  Thanks for sharing!

One and a half sizes smaller in length, and one size smaller in width.

I went from a size 12 wide,  to a 10 1/2 D.  In the Army I was a 10D.  It looks like my feet are permanently bigger than they used to be.

My friend lost 130 lbs and gave me all her shoes because her foot was too slim!!  So now I'm on the weight loss road too.  Guess I better start wearing those shoes fast before they are too big for me also!  :)

 no. mine haven't.
:(
I was hoping they would. I'm down 100lbs (as of today!) and I think if they were going to have shrunk they would have by now?
Good luck!

Those who answered yes--I wonder if it is a bodytype thing.  I seem to have little to no fat below my knees, so I don't think my foot size would change--but not sure.  Of those who had sizes drop did you have fat near your foot or ankles?

I went from a size 10 or 11 to a 9 or 9 1/2. I used to carry a lot of excess fluid and that is all gone with the weight loss.
