Topic: RE: Anyone getting surgery with Ramos Kelly in March?

Whichever you chose ... You are in great hands!

I was sleeved by Dr. Ramos Kelly ... 5 weeks ago today!  I had a fantastic experience!  I was lucky enough to have gone to Angeles before the crazy price increase but I would have been comfy wherever, as long as he was the surgeon!

Topic: RE: thinking about going to Dr Kelly, which hospital is better? angeles or mi dictor?

Hello, I am looking to go with Dr Kelly to and hoping to go in March. I filled out the contact card on Dr Kelly's web site and received a call back from Heath on Sunday, very nice guy. I was advised the following (see below). (Dr Kelly will no longer be doing surgery at Mi Doctor)

I am looking to find out if anyone will be going to any of the new places he now will be doing the surgery at as I can't find much info on these places when I do searches.

Dr. Kelly performs surgery out of 3 locations. The first 2 are full service hospitals and Clinica San Juan is a surgical center.

1. Angeles Hospital.  The sleeve costs $7400 + $278.41 for medical tourism insurance

2. Hospital Del Prado. www.hospitaldelprado.com  The sleeve costs $5900 + $278.41 for medical tourism insurance

3. Clinica San Juan. http://www.clinicasanjuan.com.mx  The sleeve costs $4700 + $200.10 for medical tourism insurance

Dr. Kelly has all patients stay 2 days at each place before they go to the hotel for up to 2 additional days.

Hello, I am thinking about getting sleeved with Dr Ramos Kelly in March and wondering if anyone has had or going to have the surgery in any of the 2 new locations as he will no longer be doing surgery in Mi Doctor Hospital and the price has gone up to $7400 for him to do surgery at Angeles Hospital. Is anyone going with Dr Kelly and going to have surgery at any of his 2 new location of Hospital Del Prado or Clinica San Juan?

I had my surgery in MExicaly no tijuana, but my best advice is go to the Hospital, either way you will paying more than 50% less that you have to pay in US for surgery, and been in a full service hospital worth every penny!! in my experience the nursing care was awesome, the food, everything and I stay there for 3 days.

Hi all - I am justmom also coop1977's  Mom -- I accompanied Janet to Hospital Angeles and totally back everything she says.  I myself have never met a more genuine, meticulous, warm person than Dr. Kelly - his attention to "every" detail was amazing.  He even came to see "me" minutes after Janet's surgery and described the process in great detail - just to make sure I didn't worry.  At no time did I feel concern because of his calming presence.  Hospital Angeles is amazing - our hospitals in Canada are clean and great, but I'd have to say Angeles is the best.  It's a private hospital and Janet and I kept referring to it as the hotel - it was that great.  But, the most important decision you will make is choosing Dr. Kelly as your surgeon.  He even said "keep in touch, we are family now"  Linda

Topic: Is a Lighter Me one of the best places to have your surger?

I'm looking into getting the process started and doing my homework. I'm thinking of going with a Lighter Me. I've been checking out there website which of I'm scared going out of the U.S. just because what if something happens and you are back home? I see the pricing is considerably cheaper than in the U.S. Can you all please give me some insight on A Lighter Me and is there any others that are better? I need advice please. Thank you
