This is so hard and people are not great about staying bad things about places. I really struggled with this, but I want the switch and there is really only one Dr in Mexico for that surgery. I vetted my place so, I can say the https://www.facebook.com/Mexicali-Bariatric-Center-224544617 630456/ is worth considering. They do all the surgeries and as far as I can tell is one of the best places in MX I'm getting a switch there on Aug 19.

I am desperately trying to learn everything I can about surgeons in Mexico. It is very difficult to find specific information about their practices, how many issues their patients have, etc. I cannot even find any forums just listing doctors to avoid. I find this inconvenient. If anyone has horrible experiences with these doctors, I would love to know who they are so I can avoid them while I am making decisions. Of course, everyone's opinion of any doctor is different, but if there are real serious problems with any of them, I would like to know your opinion.

Hey, im searching for tijuana too! The lowest price i've seen so far is with Dr. Maytorena, 2999 dlls for gastric sleeve surgery. Im still doing my research about him and his team.. Just sharing you the info, ill let you know if i found something better.

Im watching other patients experiences in his You Tube Channel and everyone seems very pleased, is he a good choice?

I do not know anything about revisions. But I would imagine that since you had the lap band that a revision wouldn't be as scary as revising from a sleeve to a switch or rny. So I would imagine nearly anyone that has experience doing sleeves and lap bands would be great. I am going to Dr. Fernando Garcia at Hospital Cer. He does all surgeries. I am going for the RNY. But I really think anyone that has exceptional experience in sleeves would be a good fit.

I would be happy to communicate with you. I am only 5 days out of surgery and back home in Maryland, in a suburb just outside of Washington DC and doing well. That said, I have spent most of today sitting on a glider and lying around in my bed, watching Nurse Jackie episodes back to back on netflix. I could probably do a little more than the periodic walk around the house, but read that it is best to resist the temptation to get back into action to quickly and that rest is important. I don't really know of other financing opportuntities other than Dr. Q. I was able to have surgery with him because of the ability to finance. He did a great job with me and his nursing care staff were beyond great. I am a single mom too and felt like I needed to do this for myself and so I would be here and be an active mom for my kids,.Best wishes with any doctor you eventually decide on.
