I am right there with ya.... I will be 41 in December and want another 20 pounds off, before then.... I am off work for surgeries right now... just had my appendix out 3 weeks ago and I am scheduled for a bladder lift next week..... I filed for unemployment but I am not sure I will get it or not. Keeping my fingers crossed. I should know tomorrow when I call the system to report that I am still not working. So we will see.....
Good Luck getting those last 25 pounds off.... You can do it if you really put your mind to it.....

So I found at Sam's Club last Friday a protein bar with 30g of protein in each bar. I was skeptical because to date, anything with that much protein in it has tasted like poo.
But the price was under $14.00 for 15 bars and I figured for a week, it wouldn't kill me.
I was plesantly surprised. They're really good. I have to make sure I chew them well because they're kind of thick.
Wanted to share. I think it's great buy, especiall for those who can eat meal replacement bars who are sick & tired of the way the shakes taste.
I have a dentist appointment in S. Lyon at 11 for my cleaning. Would love to do it another day though, this week is packed for me and next week I am having my surgery for my bladder lift. Hopefully with a little more notice I can work something in..... Wish I could be there.

I guess I am an old timer by now with my surgery, but WTG on the weight loss. I didn't hit my goal weight until I was about 3-1/2 to 4 years out and at that time I had started smoking again, but I quit and then gained back about 20 pounds.... I struggle every day but it is slowly coming off again! It is a life long journey, but it sure does sound like you are doing well.
I have six kids if you didn't figure that out by my screen name. My oldest is almost 22, then I have a 20 year old boy, a 13 year old girl, an 11 year old boy, a 9 year old girl and another boy that is almost 8. Plus I have a 3 year old grandson and a 9 month old grandson. Hubby and I have been married for 13 years now.
Personally my kids drive me nuts some days and I can't wait to become an empty nester.... Somedays I wonder what I was thinking having 6 kids.... and i Had my tubes tied after 4 then had them reversed to have 2 more.... LOL.... Guess I was just asking for it huh?
Sure would be great to get together sometime since we live so close. I actually work in Brighton, at the Courtyard Marriiott.... Been off for a few weeks now though because I had an emergency appendectomy and then the day they are letting me go back to work I am scheduled for a bladder lift, so I will be off for another 4 weeks..... We could always meet at that Panera Bread right there in Brighton and have a cup of soup together and get to know each other..... Sure would be nice to get together with another person going through what I have been through.....
Hope to hear from you soon....
