I just thought I'd throw something out there totally random....

It's a little after 8:30p.m., I have my windows open and my front door open.  It's soooooooooo nice out.

Had a little adventure in the parking lot at Lowes this afternoon in Madison Heights.  Some oaf left his one-eyed dog locked up in a red Explorer.  The rear windows were cracked, front windows closed.  This poor furry guy was fast panting, his tongue was way out.  I was so mad.  I photoed the dog and promptly put it on facebook (hey, this guy is lucky I didn't put his license plate on fb).  Just as I was starting to dial 911, the owner shows up at the rear of the car.  After confirming he owned the dog, I said:  "You know it's illegal to lock your animal in the car with no ventilation."

So he decided, on a nice sunny afternoon, since it was cool outside it didn't matter.

I said, "How about I lock your butt up in the fricking car for twenty minutes with windows cracked?  I bet you change your tune...oh, and I called the cops."

He was as big as me, I thought it'd be a GREAT wrestling match.

Topic: OT ~ Needing Surgery!

Well, I just found out the other day from my urologist, that my bladder has indeed fallen.  I was pretty sure this was the case obviously, that is why I went to him.  Anyway, I am in need of a bladder lift/suspension.  I first have to go through this horrible testing to measure my bladder and how well I can empty it, to see if I need anything else done or if that is it.  So that testing is scheduled for June 3rd, then after that we will schedule the surgery.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this, but after having six kids and being so overweight and obese for so long, my bladder is shot and I am sick and tired of peeing my pants, lol.... So it really needs to be done.  I guess this is a good thing.  I will keep you all posted on when I will actually have the surgery and then how things go afterward.

HUGS to ALL,

I had RNY laproscopicly on a Monday, with Dr. Krause in 2008, and returned to work, as an industrial electrician, the following Monday. I had to take it easy and not lift heavy objects, but otherwise, I did fine.

Glad to see everything is working out Traci.  Dr. Krause is the best!

I remember you too, Eileen.  Sorry to hear of all your problems...it is not fun, for sure.  I've had issues with depression too...some of it coincides with starting menapause I think.  Regardless, it still feels the same.  And then back to the crutch that seemed to work in the past for it....food.  all we can do it keep at it.:-)  I just had to take Skype off my computer cuz I thought it was causing me some viruses, but I may try it again...YES, that would be great to have a group meeting with us oldies!!:-) (or whoever would like to join in!  Best of luck to you...I'll keep you in my prayers!  Theresa
