Peanuts or any kind of nuts....
I know I am only 6 days out of surgery, but I have a question about nuts. How far into the journey did u get to eat nuts? My daughter got a bag of shelled peanuts from her auntie and gosh did they smell good, but really anything smells good compared to jello, popsicles, water,medicines...etc. I did start to get my Carnation instant breakfast down. I had about a 1/4 cup earlier today it took about 15 min to get it down.
I waited to eat nuts until the solid foods phase.. I didn't want to risk it. I guess I could have chewed them to hell, but I wasn't really craving them post-op, so it was never a problem.
My program said no nuts until nearly a year......check with your doc!
