No More Nsaids
My surgeon said no nsaids but what did I do.....take a prescription Naproxen. Big mistake!! I had such a headache plus neck and shoulder pain, I knew Tylenol wouldn't do it.
The pill got so far then must have stuck and dissolved. Had the worst burning in my stomach. I was so miserable. The thick saliva began forming and some of my water came up with what looked like blood. After dinner, I had more problems (ate hot Picante sauce) and eventually that came up. More blood. That pill must have really irritated my little pouch. The bottle of Naproxen has been destroyed.
I made the Enchalida Casserole that was posted here recently. It's the one with the cream cheese and chicken filling. Excellent! I'm taking it to our potluck Saturday.
Love the "shopping" in my closet. Two more skirts now fit and the pants I bought at the thrift store 3 weeks ago are too big.

This recipe was posted here recently so I'm not taking credit for it. The original called for double the ingredients shown here so I halved it. I used about a lb. of chicken and it was plenty.
It's one of the best new recipes I've tried since my surgery.
CHICKEN ENCHILADAS
1 ½ lbs. chicken
1 pkg Cream Cheese 1 small can of diced green chilies 1 large cans of green enchilada sauce (I used red sauce)
1 pkg of flour tortillas
1 pkg of your favorite cheese
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Cook and season chicken as you like. When done, let cool down, then shred and set aside. In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt the cream cheese, stirring frequently; when melted, add the can of green chilies and stir well. Add the shredded chicken and stir until well blended. Remove from heat. In a 9x9” pan, pour enough green enchilada sauce to coat the bottom of the pan. Put chicken mixture in tortilla lengthwise. Fold up like a burrito and place in pan, SEAM SIDE DOWN. Do this until your mixture and/or shells are gone. Once pan is full, pour the rest of the can of green enchilada sauce over them, covering all well. Cover with tin foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil, top with your favorite cheese, and bake an additional 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and looks a little bubbly. Remove from oven and top with favorite salad fixings.
