I too agree you should go to a few support groups, and not only get feedback about the procedure, but hear from patients about their Doctor (I know a few of Doctor Nusbaum’s patients attend the Morristown and/or Saint Clare meetings).

Clara Maas – West Hudson Division (in KEARNY) meeting is the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00p.m.

Weight Loss Surgery Support Group I - meet the second Wednesday of every month, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and is for patients who have had bariatric surgery less than one year ago.
Gastric Band Surgery Support Group meet the third Wednesday of every month, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Weight Loss Surgery Support Group II - meet the fourth Wednesday of every month, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and is for patients who have had bariatric surgery more than one year ago.

current weight: 151 pounds (7/12/11)
I've been at goal (165 pounds) for 6 months now and now on maintence. I tend to go up and down depending on time of the month and such!
