I stayed at the holiday Inn Express.  It's very close to the hospital and Dr. Graber's office.  They give you a reduced rate if you call directly to the hotel and ask for it.  I paid $89 instead of $149 a night.  Also, ask if you can have a room on the ground floor - those stairs are not fun after surgery!  They will also put a microwave and small fridge in the room if you ask.

There is also the Red Roof Inn - it is further away but cheaper, based on what I have read here.  I'm sure there are others - I just can't remember them!

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn.  No breakfast, but very affordable, clean and quiet place.  I liked it.

Hi Eileen,

I stayed at the Holiday in and will NOT ever again, it was dirty and had bugs, the beds were hard and i got bitten by bugs on my legs, it was awful.  others have stayed at the raddison and been very happy.

We stay at the best western about five min away and if you call them direct and ask for the Dr Grabers discount they charge 72.00 a night and it includes breakfast (continental) and you can request a fridge and micro in your room.

Good luck  Deb K

I also stayed at the Holiday Inn. Great people....if family is going with you, the restaurant is great. Kids eat free. It depends on the time of year as to $$$$.I was last Aug. and paid $99. worth every penny. Good luck ...we have a seat for you on the "bench"

I will be staying at the Holiday Inn this coming week (July 22).
The rate is now $99.
Hopefully I'll report back with positive feedback.
Good to know about the other places, for the longer stay (breakfast for those staying with me).

Hi Rosie

Will be glad for the input, hope your stay is great and assume you'll be going for surgery next week?

If you are, I'll keep you in my thoughts and pray for a great outcome.

Thanks and good luck, but I really don't think you will need it.

Thanks again

Eileen
